Acceptable Use
Acceptable Use Policy
Updated 2026-08-11
This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service and describes what you may and may not do with Nextelio products, and specifically with Nextelio WhatsApp Suite. In addition to this policy, you must comply with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Solution Terms and the WhatsApp Commerce Policy.
1. Consent and opt out
- Only send messages to recipients who have given prior opt in through a method Meta considers valid.
- Keep evidence of consent. We may ask for it if Meta or a regulator raises a complaint against your traffic.
- Honour opt out requests immediately. Provide a plain way to stop receiving messages (a keyword like STOP is the minimum).
2. Prohibited content
Do not use our products to send or store content that:
- Violates law, including consumer protection, anti spam, financial services, healthcare, or export control law where your business operates or where recipients live.
- Promotes hate, incites violence, threatens or harasses people, or targets protected characteristics.
- Is deceptive: phishing, impersonation of a person or brand, fraudulent offers, deep fakes without disclosure.
- Contains malware or links to malicious sites, including URL shorteners used to hide destinations.
- Depicts child sexual abuse material, non consensual intimate imagery, or extreme violence.
- Promotes regulated goods (weapons, drugs, tobacco, gambling) outside the jurisdictions and formats those categories allow.
- Advertises or facilitates illegal financial activity, including unlicensed lending, unlicensed crypto services and Ponzi schemes.
- Infringes intellectual property, trade secrets or privacy rights of a third party.
3. Prohibited conduct
Do not:
- Attempt to circumvent WhatsApp’s messaging limits, quality ratings, or template review process.
- Use scraped or purchased phone lists. Every recipient must have opted in through a channel you control.
- Send messages that are structurally spam: identical broadcasts to large unopted audiences, or messages designed only to keep a number active.
- Use the service to test or benchmark against competitors without our written permission.
- Probe our infrastructure, reverse engineer the service, or run security tests without prior authorisation from security@nextelio.io.
- Introduce viruses, worms, or any code intended to disrupt the service or the systems of others.
4. Special categories
If you send messages that touch health, finance, insurance, legal services, or public interest topics, you are responsible for the additional disclosures and safeguards those categories require in the recipient’s jurisdiction. When in doubt, ask us.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate reports of violations. If we find material breach, we may suspend or terminate access, remove offending content, restrict features, or report to law enforcement. We may act without notice where continued access would create imminent harm.
6. Reporting abuse
To report abuse of the service, write to contact@nextelio.io. For security vulnerabilities, use security@nextelio.io. We investigate every report and reply within one working day.
