Data Deletion instructions

You can delete your Nextelio account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains the routes available, what gets deleted and when, and how to request confirmation.

Option 1 — from inside the product

If you have signed in through Facebook Login or through Meta’s Embedded Signup for WhatsApp, or you have created a Nextelio account directly, use the built in flow:

  1. Sign in to your Nextelio workspace.
  2. Open Settings → Account → Delete account.
  3. Confirm. The account is scheduled for deletion within 30 days.

If you are the workspace owner, deleting your account also deletes the workspace and all associated data, subject to the retention rules below.

Option 2 — by email

Write to privacy@nextelio.io from the email address on the account. Include the workspace name if you know it. We reply within one working day and complete verified deletions within 30 days.

Option 3 — for Meta Login users specifically

If you signed into a Nextelio product using your Facebook or Meta identity, you may also revoke our access from your Meta account settings:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations.
  2. Find Nextelio in the list.
  3. Choose Remove. This revokes our access token.
  4. Then email privacy@nextelio.io so we can also delete the personal data we stored.

What gets deleted

  • Your account profile (name, email, role, sign in identifiers).
  • Your workspace settings and preferences.
  • Encrypted WhatsApp Business Account tokens tied to your workspace (permanently, within 24 hours of disconnection).
  • Template drafts and versions you own, unless retained under a legal hold.
  • Delivery metadata tied to your workspace.

What we may keep, and for how long

  • Anonymised operational logs, retained up to 12 months for security and fraud prevention.
  • Billing and tax records, retained for the period required by French law (currently ten years).
  • Support correspondence, retained up to 36 months for reference, unless you ask us to delete it earlier.
  • Backups, which age out on a rolling schedule of no more than 90 days.

Confirmation

On request, we send written confirmation that the deletion has completed. To request it, reply to our confirmation email with “Please send confirmation of deletion.”
